OP402 - Project & Power Plant Outage Management

2 days - 1.3 Continuing Education Units Awarded
On-Site-Only

Managing even small projects requires careful attention to detail and the ability to anticipate possible problems. No one individual can keep track of all the activities and issues associated with project implementation and execution for long without the necessary management skills and resources.

The course is designed to serve as a practical on-the-job guide/reference for the new and experienced project manager who is responsible for the day-to-day management of all types of projects.

The text gives useful guidelines for project planning, project scheduling, project budgeting, staffing, managing human resources, communications, establishing and maintaining the project organization, training project team members, project control, corrective and preventive action, decision making, documentation and project closure, using microcomputers in project management and how to develop a project management work plan.

Do you work in a power plant or related industries?  If yes, then receive value-added instruction.  HPC's instructors are typically experienced engineers who have worked industry, have upgraded equipment, have managed outages, and can communicate.
